Just wanted to say thanks to Lano for trying to teach me the rules to Warmachine and patiently putting up with me. Thanks to my formidable opponents too, your painted models are spot on! I now know that the death toll in any given round can make your eyes water and if in doubt take a squid into battle with you! Thank you gentlemen.

well i have to say i have never had an opponent so proficent the first time they play that they can walk out mid game to get a round of tea's and still decimate half my forces before he gets back.
to be fair hordes is not the best introduction to the game, if you are up for learning how to play, a 15pt game of warmachine (not hordes) would really be best.
Thanks for the painting compliment at least i end up with a lot of pretty corpses!!

The game is beautifully packaged and when you see the models painted it is eye catching. Yes I did smoke the warmachine Macca but I didn't inhale!
That said, it would be churlish not to give a smaller game a try. What harm could it do?

Oh don't forget the loss of sleep and sanity. Many a night I woke up scream 'the squid! The squid is coming!'
But like you say, worth a go.

Hmm I have the feeling that some sort of warmahorde cult is forming and that those that do not succumb to the squid will be outcast and hunted. Oh well better put my best pair of reebok on!
