Sorry fellas I was kind of concentrating on keeping Ashlynn away from the butcher during this fridays game. Was there talk about a 25 point warmachine tournament being discussed around the room?I thought i heard if you lose a Jack its gone for the rest of the tourny and something about throwing cans at people if you want to cheat! If so what ideas / rules were you thinking?

George mentioned an idea where you have a 25 point force which cannot be changed throughout the tournament.

The food for cheating is part of campaign called 'food machine' you can buy re-rolls, move a few extra inches... And each can you use get given to charity. It's run by Privateer Press and Pressgsngers. So no throwing cans at each other ! It's not big and it's not clever!,
Not sure about the other one where once a jack is gone it's gone, will make for very small games by the second round.
But up for the idea of a small 25 point tournament where you play everyone with same force, stops the 'this is my anti Khador this is my anti Troll list! We could it on most wins and if it's a draw we could do it on scenario points. Or top 2 play a 35 point final with same force with an extra points added.

would be up for a 25 pt tournament. If we use a round robin or league format we could always run it over a couple of fridays and then do the Finals (and 3rd and forth place games) on a final friday or saturday of the year. That way you could also arrange your games with your scheduled opponent for other times in the week or weekend if you both have a couple of free hours.

I would be up for it, you take a 25point build and that's it no swapping out or changing your build . I think also a time limit so that everyone can get in a game and maybe play for objectives or have a scenario as a change from kille the warcaster

like the idea of sticking with a core force. With a time limit i guess you could go two ways, give each player a 45 min total time limit or limit each turn to 4 minutes or so.

Plenty of good scenarios out there and time turns is something I would like to try... Could easily come up with spreadsheet that can randomly determine who is playing who at what scenario. Or as i dont think we can fit it into one night i could do just a plain spreadsheet to keep track of the results. We could also start a new thread in this forum and post results as we go, just to keep everyone up to date.
