Warlord Ashfang was not happy. The dreaded Council of Thirteen had ordered him to seize the decrepit Tower of Saltmarsh and secure the secrets within, a task well beneath his dark ambitions. Tales spoke of lightless, twisting warrens filled with ancient treasures from the steaming jungles of the Southlands, the legendary hoard of Skurvy Jack. But if any such wealth ever existed it was no longer to be found here within the damp tidal caves beneath Saltmarsh. The warlord’s mood was soured further as thoughts strayed back to Clan Gorewrath and the machinations of those he knew would now be plotting against him in his absence, vying for a position of power he had spent years creating. And deep within those waterlogged caverns were reports of a small reptilian creature that had watched the skaven excavations from the shadows of dark brackish pools. Attempts to capture the elusive lizard had been fruitless, though perhaps the skaven were no longer alone in seeking the Talisman of Teotequa. Now news of General Vanderkamp’s triumphal return into Port Tobaro and encampment at Spittlefoam Cove only added to Ashfang’s frustration. This was a distraction he could well do without and the mercenary from Marienburg would pay dearly for the interruption. No, Ashfang was not happy at all!

Nice write up ShaoGore. Plague Priest sounds like one to watch! Was thinking we could pick up the story using the rules for Triumph and Treachery. The secret of Skurvy Jack’s legendary hoard are no longer as secret as Warlord Ashfang would want. It would give an opportunity for Lano and his Lizardmen (and anyone else for that matter) to join in on the quest to locate the lost Talisman of Teotequa!

Hi guys, been out of the loop for a while but back now! Time is still somewhat of an issue but should be able to find some hobby time somewhere (I think I saw a box with spare time written on it the other day in the shed as I was putting decorations away for another year). Anyway… A long long time ago on a gaming table far far away, my friend and I came up with idea of playing Fantasy, it started off ok, but over time it died. I have somewhere a load of Goblin stuff, mainly spider riders and night goblins. It was story driven and one game lead to the next etc.. On the way we came up with some good ideas, one goblin managed to survive a cannon ball to the face, so with a cracked skull he started seeing things. He could also talk to large beasts in a way that would not get him eaten, so that lead to troll and giants… He gave one troll to a shaman as body guard (Thanquol and Bonripper anyone?). But that’s where the story ended, so if its ok do you want some mad goblin leading a group in search of this treasure I’m determined to finish these guys off and play some games (might need some help on the rules). I also had a story started called ‘Tales of the Golden Goblin’ a shaman was slowly turning gold after eating a metal wizard, but that’s another story!

No,no,no! The goblin ate a wizard from the lore of metal and is slowly turning to gold. Its not hard to believe is it? But I was smoking some good s%£t at the time, that probably made it easy to believe and to think of it in the first place I guess:-)

If you have any more of that spare time mr2key (or s%£t for that matter!)knocking about... I definitely want to find out more on the backstory of your goblin warband and the shaman with dietary problems. Would be great to see them take to the field in search of the legendary Talisman.
