This is a rough brief of the Friday night campaign, so in future I will be sure to take a few notes as we go along, for the sake of historical accuracy and boasting!
Four armies meet on the battlefield, Tau, Necron, Marines and Tyranids. Previous scouting missions and intercepted transmissions have revealed an ancient relic on the planet, and now that's its location is known, the race is on!
The armies face off and Round 1 begins.
'The Hive Tyrant is Toast'
The Marines launch an all attack on the Hive Tyrant, the Venerable Dreadnought backed up by a couple of snipers soon see the Hive Tyrant bite the dust. Who said snipers were no good! 1st blood and slay the warlord to the Imperials. The Tau and Necrons look on with shock, some awe and plenty of glee! The Tyranids respond without too much success and the Necrons decide to march towards the Relic whilst taking shots at the Tau and Marines. The Tau sit tight wondering what the hell is going on!
