If the rumour about wraiths is true they are amazing, t5 and beasts and wraithform allows them to move through units.
Also all overlords are now ws and bs 5.
On the upside for non-necrons players mind shackle scarabs is now a fear test on 3d6, res orbs are one use only and tesla doesn't get extra hits on snap fire.

Having read the new codex i can say that the Necrons are still a very solid army, they have lost a lot of the funky equipment they had but it is more than made up for in the army list which has seen a lot of point reductions, with the exception of the troops which are the same, the new detachment is the thing which will see the most abuse as it is very flexible and allows spamming of silly combos, things that stand out to be very annoying for opponents are.
Destroyers have 2 wounds and you can have 6 in a unit and they're jetpack infantry. Wraiths are t5 and beasts that can move through any model or terrain. Tomb Blades can be taken in units of 10, and nebuloscopes give them ignores cover. Nemesor Zandrekh can choose a new warlord trait each turn and gains some special rules from enemy units within 24"
Flayed Ones are now worth taking, they have 3 attacks base but have 2 flayer claws which are ap5 and shred, although i hope they release these in plastic as i'm still not sold on the finecast ones.
I look forward to using them on the tabletop.
