So many of you might be wondering where i have gone...
Many of you might be lost without my witty banter and offensive comments...
BUT ALAS!
My phone broke...
and with that, my contact with the outside world has ceased.
I sit on trains, looking at the other people with their small metallic boxes happily tapping along, and i sit their thinking of my old love affair with my iPhone5.
No more emails,no more emails, no more BBC iPlayer! I haven't seen Eastenders in days!
Anyway, in the last few days from my exile from technology, I have found a place more exciting and more expensive than Dark Sphere...
I have seethe light! I have seen, Ian Allen Book & Model Train Store!
Let me set the scene... after being told by Ed and Mike of a possible haven in Leytonstone, I came to find that The Engine Shed was closed, it may be closed down, but i visited on a thursday afternoon and there was no life in the old girl.
So, remembering Mike's advice on a possible store in Waterloo, i went, through rain and cold and wind and tourists, and.. under a blanker of thick heavy water, i walked into Ian Allens Store.
At first sight, it wasn't impressive, it was books, and 40 year old men muttering over the engine size of a train, but, behold, near the back, was the MECCA of terrain building!
The different colours of flock, bushes, and scatter colours! The sheets of Plastcard, and the Cork Sheets, I HAD EVERYTHING I NEEDED To BUILD WHAT EVER I WANTTTTT
So yea,i haven't bought any new models, but i have bought a metric shit tonne of terrain building stuff...
So, how was everyone else's week been?
