SPACE MARINE TURN 3
With a roar of engines the Ravenwing and Imperial Fist flyers arrived along with a contingent of Deathwing Terminators. They opened up on the Tyranid force from front and rear and with the aid of those defending the city wall started to thin the Tyranid lines.
TYRANID TURN 3
Just as the Space Marines thought that their reinforcements would make a difference the Tyranids launched an assault from within the city itself, causing momentary confusion amongst the Space Marines, outside the city the Ravenwing and Deathwing were engaged by the smaller Tyranid creatures whilst one of the Carnifex Broods succeeded in destroying the Baneblade.

Yet more reinforcements in the shape of another Baneblade arrived within the city to aid in the destruction of those Tyranids that had lauched their assault there. What little of the Space Marine force that remained outside the wall could only pick off small amounts of Tyranids whilst the Ravenwing and Deathwing fought on bravely, inside the city the Marines opened fire on the Tyranid force devastating it and coupled with an assault from the Masters of the Chapter all but wiped out the Tyranid threat there, it appeared that for the moment the city was safe.
TYRANID TURN 4
The Tyranids seemed hell bent on destroying the threat of the Ravenwing and Deathwing, and appeared to lose their focus on the city, they continued to bring down any threats that faced them outside the city but a different story was unfolding within the city walls where their threat was being crushed.
