look brill,
would suggest sealing / varnishing them as i found all the symbols can fall off mid roll. That was the reason I painted mine on.

brilliant stuff.
I amnot sure if I will be around Friday, I need to pack a Greek hoplite army for a large game on Saturday at Wayland/Tabletop where I will be using this lot
My planned list is at
General
5x24 hoplites
3 x24 armoured Spartans
1x24 un-armoured hoplites
24 Thracian Peltats
24 pelatts with thrusting spears
5x12 javelin men
12 archers
12 Cretan archers
24 slingers
10 light cavalry,
9 light cavalry
And yes, it is all painted - I will be fighting Romans

Played the game today, I did modify the lists a little and took less skrimishers and another unit of light cavalry.
Photos will be posted tommorow, once I have gone through them and edited them down . BTW, I won a convincing victory- my Spartans held the centre long enough for my flanking force to hit the flank . My oponnant punched through my right flank but was not in a position to exploit his success .

 Thanks guys .I've added a photo this thread showing the rear of the Roman line. The photo has had to be cropped and compressed a little to get it in under 1Mb. Tabletop Nations have invited me down in April to run aparticpation game. I think I agreed to go late medieval, but could go Italian wars. I will post up details nearere the time But as its a particpation game all welcome. At the moment I have become a little distracted by real life cr@$, so I am going to drop out of the Saga fantasy theme. Feel free to adapt, alter , re -invent etc the saga boards that I wrote . |

Tabletop day sounds right. I can't find it listed on the website though. They have listed the wab event I agreed to run detail st tabletopnation.simpletix.com/EventDetails/127/Time/115/I keep meaning to contact Gripping Beast to settle the issue of getting them to run a saga event |
