shaggy - Chances are it'll be SPD4... but I'l guessing it'll have a run/charge for free mechanic. riot - Says the guy who's been playing this game longer than either me or shaggy! =P

I will be very surprised if it has an Arc Node, delighted, but surprised!
But giving Khador access to an arc node is... well 'its all just bollocks!'
But, if it does i'll have one, and that lovely new Zerkova model!

I have heard the shield is not a shield (but it sure does look like one). It's a soul collector of Orgoth origin. If it collects friendly or enemy souls has not been mentioned. Also they have not said what you can do with souls. Standard is that they are turned into focus in the allocation phase...

shaggy - Cheese!! CHEESE!! PURE CHEESE!! I'm dying of lactose intolerance here! =P mr2key - If the Cryx crabjack (I think) I'm thinking of is anything similar, then it'll be able to spend the souls straight away. Eeeesh... wonder if anything in the Khador spell lists have Overtake! *hrrrk*

The Harrower is the jack you are talking about and yes it can spend them straight away! But you have to remember what faction it from, it has to broken or they don't let them join.
Shaggy: Khador not having cheese... Don't think I need to say anymore.

shaggy - Seriously speaking, game-breaking stuff isn't all that prevalent in Retribution (or Khador as far as I'm aware... outside of tier, at least), we're more a bag of mischievous tricks. Fundamentally, the consensus is that Legion are worst with Eyeless Sight AND Pathfinder on the vast majority of their beasts, and they have the one piece of tech capable of, with some luck and support of course, taking down Butcher on full camp in what can essentially amount to one hit. I'd complain about the state of Retribution with respect to the other factions, but there's no point. Despite us having access to only one damage buff, only two generic DEF debuffs and one reliability buff outside of feats, it's mostly wasted breath considering what we DO have (perhaps the best one-shot 2-point solo in the game that Armour Piercing would make completely and utterly broken, so there's a damn good reason why we don't have it!, some pretty competitive tiers that make Ret players completely revise their tactics (Kae's two tier lists play completely different from each other that any move to play them similarly will end in tears), some of the best UA's in the game (yes, Tactics: Phantom Seeker MHSF Officer, lookin' at you!), and factional claim over Eiryss). I'm aware that we're the smallest of the main factions (Minions/Mercs notwithstanding, but JMLs explicitly state that they're not noob friendly, and Cyriss was never intended to be a regular release faction... and if they were, every WMH player would be fielding them, being in the unique position of having proper FOC management!) and there are players skilled enough with the elves to win and keep me honest! Hell, they won Templecon Hardcore with a tier I thought was crap, so it shows what I know! And Will Pagani, who gave us the Murder of Griffons (even though I steadfastly refuse to get eVyros)... -_- But given the nature of the game as it is now, having veered to multi-wound high ARM lists (yay for Fist of Halaak... and you ever wonder why Gatormen Posses are everywhere?!), Ret's in a difficult position. ARM buffs are rare (one Imprint and one spell on two casters) and high ARM is rarer and we have a sum total of zero heavy infantry. Khador's problem at the moment is similar. You've got the Men-O-War, but compared to most other factions' multi-wound units (damn you and your Bastions, mr2key!! =P ), they're nowhere near good enough (slow and not as good for their points for what they do as other factions' equivalents), so you need to follow a similar path to us, exploiting medium and light infantry (high DEF low ARM, the prevailing issue being that there are still more auto-hit effects than auto-damage). Still, there's no doubt that in the current meta, Khador and Retribution can be competitive, but it's down more to skill than faction tech, so our fellow faction players need to work harder for tournament wins. Case in point, my game against Ed playing pSkarre who has Sacrificial Strike (an auto-hit attack based on the Sacrifice's ARM) and Ritual Sacrifice that meant he was playing the turn with 12 FOC, no allocation! Against any other caster, that one mistake I made wouldn't have bit me like that! -_- Besides, Khador has cheese, have no doubt... Iron Flesh + Kayazies!! Trollolololol!! XD Just like us. (Banshee + Phantom Hunter that you've had the pleasure of being shot by! Through your own jacks... and a wall... and a building... and a forest... and now you're knocked down!) More than most other game systems, you need to do your research for WMH to find counters and solutions... mr2key - Harrower, that was it... but to some the Butcher is broken, and his character 'jack needs to exude unbridled rage. He sees something, he wants to take a wallop at it... why stop the inevitable?! XD

germanicus as you said and I can see in this game each faction has it's thing and there are things to counter act something it's just finding what works and what style of Play a person likes. As a spell SI you could say is can be cheese when stacking up with joes speeches it's just looking at what you have and use it correctly. But the hardiest thing for me at the mo is knowing all the stuff your playing against and being able to counter act but I suppose more you play more you know.
