On Friday one of my hench man rolled "lads got talent" and was promoted to a hero.
Before his promotion I was a Young blood and champion short due to the death of Crashhart and Wild eyed Joe. A young blood was promoted to leader (he had the highest Ld).
Does this mean I can still buy a young blood and champion or do I still top out at 5 heros?

This is from the original rule book:
Other Heroes Apart from your leader, your warband may include up to 5 other heroes, who form the core of your warband. A warband may never include more heroes of a specific type than the number in the warband list. This means that some warbands (eg, the Reiklanders who can only start with 5 heroes) can only get the maximum of six heroes by gaining experience with their Henchmen.
So you can have 1 leader, 2 champions, 2 young bloods and 1 henchman that has rolled the lads got talent. If you lose a champion or young blood and do not replace them they can be replaced by a henchman that rolls the lads got talent. So you could for example have 1 leader, 1 champion, 2 young bloods and 2 henchmen heroes. From what I understand you have 1 leader, 1 champion, 1 young blood and 1 henchman hero? if that is correct you can you buy 1 more champion and 1 more young blood. Or you could leave the spaces open and hope you roll the lad has talent for 2 of your henchmen.
Hope this helps?

Your welcome.
That it does.
And yes it would, but where's the fun in that?
Do you want borrow the rule book? I also have some town cryer issues. Because as much as I would love play again I really can't see it happening in the near future. One more thing do you still want that rouge trader book?
