Well it's true x wing will have a starter pack with the new ep VII x wing and tie fighters. They are different as the are more upgrade options for the x wings and they have an extra shield as standard and the ties now also get 1 shield. Also the paint jobs are duffer but but all rules will be the same.
no news if this will be a time line split so only can play EP VII ships with EP. V II models or they will allow you to mix all ships and just call the old ones relics from the last etc. all in all there could be some in treating combos to come.
