the vuruks (uruks with a viking battle board) will be happy to feast on the corpses of the slain (i.e. we will be there). Troll will be painted but the rest will not be

Guys
I will have to take a rain check on Friday. I may have a late night at work on the Thursday evening and I will be viewing a property that evening and its the only slot I have before xmas , next year?

Seems like everyone is deserting me this Friday  The one time I get to run the store in the evening and no one is coming!! I was going to get alcohol and dancing ladies! But fine, you guys can go to your prior engagements, they won't be as fun as a night of gaming, drinking and naked ladies (Naked ladies optional)  ? |

Lano and I had a play test of 4 points today, he was Lizard men and I was Vuruks (not something you get to say everyday). The Vuruks battleboard played well, but then it should as I just ripped it off the Viking battle board. We decided the troll should only move M and there was some discussion if the Pike should have an advantage against mounted units. Lano had some comments about the lizard board but i will let him comment on that. Lizards vs Uruks, not something you see every day!  Lizards get stuck in  The attack is beaten off and the berserkers get to grips with the warlord. hitting on fours   |

Looking forward to joining in on this one with my Pygmy Horde (Blame Santa!) Can someone remind me what I can take in a 4 point game as I don't have, or know, the rules (doesn't bode well really!)

warlord for free, hirdguard (4 elite troopers) = 1pt, bondi (8 warriors) = 1pt, Levy (12 bods) = 1pt.
I played, warlord (Free), Troll (representing four elite warriors, 1pt), berserkers (elite, 1pt) 2 units of warriors = 2pts, did not bother with levies.

Good to see some gaming getting done.
I managed to play a game on Friday which amazingly, I won. I have another game on Thursday. otherwise, its been a reltaivly quiet Xmas , I finally sorted my Cds out( took a while as I have a fair few)

Just realised we did not play the special rules lano  "The Suarus Warrior generates one saga dice but has 6 attacks and armour 6. Special: Cold Blooded Saurus Warriors do not suffer fatigue when a friendly unit within M is destroyed" Do not know if it would have made much of a difference but it might of factored in |

Thanks Riot. Have just started to experiment on painting scheme for the little guys and it is good to know that I don't need to paint that many!
